my ever mother;
I myself as a Malaysian, ought to believe that every Malaysians hide a story behind their lives. And today, I will share a story, a short story of a little boy (me) and his mother. Have your mother embarrassed you terribly? I bet she had. My mother is a very typical Chinese housewife. She couldn't really speak English well, but still okay'lah'....
"Bye, mom", I said as I walk to my school. Then she drove away.... It was early morning, I reached my school much earlier that I thought. To kill some time, I went to play football with a bunch of my friends. The football field was wet and muddy, probably due to the heavy rain the previous night.
"Ahh....! Did I just fell?" .... "Oh hell, I did!", and half of my clothes and track pants were covered by mud and dirt. Neither of my friends helped, they were laughing immaturely at the corner. It was very embarrassing. Anyhow, I couldn't think of any other way but to hide myself in the washroom.
I was panicking, I didn't know what to do! Then, I thought of my mother, who had just left a few minutes ago. So, I took out my cell phone and called her to get me some new clothes. In the conversation, I could barely hear her voice because she was shouting, as though she was gonna kill me. Although I knew something bad was gonna happen to me, I still tried to tell myself everything is gonna be alright.
"Thomas! What is this? How did this happen?!?!" a voice appeared from nowhere coming towards me.
"Oh, mom. Sorry, it was an accident. I and my friends were playing...... football. Then.." "Football? Why were you playing football at the morning, huh? You think I very free ah? Coming all the way here ...."
It was one of the most embarrassing moments in my life. My friends were laughing behind me and the teachers were so busy body that they need to stare at me for at least a minute. I mean, do you need to make my life more miserable already?!?! I didn't blame my mom on this. Without her, it will be worse because I will have to study the whole day with dirt and friends teasing me.
I have to thank my mom for all these years.... and YEA!
With love,
Regards.
